Building was first built in 1914, making it 107 years old. It is almost a heritage site. It is an important part of the community and identity of Maple Ridge, British Columbia. The site was converted into a mosque in 2018, increasing the significance of the building further by being the first mosque in Maple Ridge, British Columbia. Our aim and goal are simple. We want a place where anyone and everyone is welcome. Our doors are open to all. This is a place for learning and from where we can spread Islam.
In order to further our mission, we regularly host events and have weekly fundraisers to keep us running. We are currently still in debt, paying off its loans.
